Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business

Dr. Philip Powell is a Clinical Professor of Business Economics at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where he’s been involved for 28 years. He’s also Executive Director of the Indiana Business Research Center.

Dr. Powell earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Vanderbilt University and his B.A. in Economics from the University of South Carolina. During his extensive career, Dr. Powell has received numerous teaching awards and published scholarly articles on economic development. His current focus includes the economic direction of regions within Indiana.
